Highway advisory radio (HAR) systems from MH Corbin utilize common radio frequencies to broadcast messages to motorists. Information is available to motorists 24/7, and with battery backup. HAR Systems can be installed as a single unit or as a network of GPS synchronized systems that broadcast a single message simultaneously throughout an area.
There are a variety of uses for distance measuring instruments (DMIs), such as measuring highways or guardrails, telephone pole spacing, roadway inventories, E-911 addressing, even railway lengths. Calculate volumes and costs for materials like asphalt, concrete and sand. Compute distances and areas using a vehicle’s speed and the distance traveled.
Portable traffic analyzers from MH Corbin are designed to survey traffic on a roadway, bridge, parking garage, or construction area. Because the analyzer can communicate wirelessly via Bluetooth, traffic data can be retrieved and downloaded without removing the unit from the road.
Our roadside controllers are engineered to be simple to use, scalable and low power. Using data from both MH Corbin and popular third-party sensors, algorithms compute changing traffic, pavement and environmental conditions in real-time.
