Who We Serve
MH Corbin Store
We provide total highway information systems and can tailor them to your department’s specific needs. Our durable systems gather, analyze and communicate vital information to motorists. Our consultative process focuses on providing complete, efficient solutions—in addition to individual products—for your traffic, weather and communication challenges.
We provide equipment that collects potentially hazardous or delay causing roadway conditions in real-time.
Data is processed using our proprietary software and equipment locally at the roadside unit or remotely at the Traffic Management Center.
Data is communicated through a variety of alerts such as HAR, DSRC systems, Flashing beacons, and Dynamic Message Signs all in real time.
Our sensors, radar and cameras, (as well as other third-party products) gather road and weather data that is then sent to TMCs or our own comprehensive beacon, sign and alert controllers.
Traffic management centers (TMCs) use our proprietary solutions to process information collected from the roadway.
After our solutions analyze roadway data, they activate a variety of signs, beacons and alerts to inform motorists of potential hazards ahead.
Vehicle accidents occur in the US each year
Congestion costs U.S. motorists almost $300 billion in 2016
Providing drivers with real-time information on weather and roadway conditions allows them to make smarter, safer decisions, greatly reducing accidents, increasing efficiency, and reducing costs related to wasted drive time.
We offer the latest technology in weather sensors that measure real-time environmental and atmospheric data including visibility, air temperature, relative humidity, precipitation, air pressure and radiation through the sensors we manufacture to the products we are proud to distribute.
Highway advisory radio (HAR) systems from MH Corbin utilize common radio frequencies to broadcast messages to motorists. Information is available to motorists 24/7, and with battery backup. HAR Systems can be installed as a single unit or as a network of GPS synchronized systems that broadcast a single message simultaneously throughout an area.
There are a variety of uses for distance measuring instruments (DMIs), such as measuring highways or guardrails, telephone pole spacing, roadway inventories, E-911 addressing, even railway lengths. Calculate volumes and costs for materials like asphalt, concrete and sand. Compute distances and areas using a vehicle’s speed and the distance traveled.
Portable traffic analyzers from MH Corbin are designed to survey traffic on a roadway, bridge, parking garage, or construction area. Because the analyzer can communicate wirelessly via Bluetooth, traffic data can be retrieved and downloaded without removing the unit from the road.
Our roadside controllers are engineered to be simple to use, scalable and low power. Using data from both MH Corbin and popular third-party sensors, algorithms compute changing traffic, pavement and environmental conditions in real-time.
MH Corbin’s proprietary software works seamlessly with our equipment and hardware packages but can also be integrated with third party equipment or existing systems.
