Traffic Analysis

Traffic Analysis

Traffic analyzers are an integral part of traffic studies and are used to measure traffic flow and classify vehicles. The NC350 Portable Traffic Analyzer with Bluetooth™ Technology from MH Corbin provides accurate measurements of vehicle count, speed, and vehicle length.

Traffic congestion costs Americans $63.1 billion dollars per year. Traffic studies have been used to successfully mitigate congestion by adding resources to key areas.

Gather

Gather

The NC350 Portable Traffic Analyzer sensor is placed directly in the traffic lane to measure data and can be installed and removed quickly and easily without damage to the road surface.

  • The lithium ion rechargeable NC350 Portable Traffic Analyzer is housed in an extruded aluminum case and can be secured to the road using a reusable rubber cover causing no damage to road surfaces.
  • NC350 analyzers use vehicle magnetic imaging and can count and classify up to 300,000 vehicles or up to 21 days per study, whichever comes first.
  • Inconspicuous design blends in with road surface.
Analyze

Analyze

The NC350 Portable Traffic Analyzer is designed to survey traffic on a roadway, bridge, parking garage, or construction area. Data is easily assessed using Highway Data Management (HDM) software.

  • Studies can be programmed and data can be downloaded wirelessly if units are within 30 feet.
  • LED indicators provide visual assurance that studies have been loaded and completed.
  • LED indicators indicate problems with the location of the unit during installation on the road surface.
Communicate

Via Wireless Communication.

The NC350 analyzer will wirelessly connect to a computer via Bluetooth for export to new or existing traffic studies. Vehicle count, speed, and classification can also be presented in the form of easy-to-read reports, charts, and graphs.
